As you come to meet with the Lord at New Wine, you will have many opportunities to hear His Word. Each of the three venues (Adult, Youth and Kids) engage trusted and spirit-filled speakers to present Biblical, practical teachings focusing on practical ways to walk out our faith and impact others. We want to further the kingdom of God in this present age. Keynote Speaker 2011 - Todd HunterTodd Hunter was the very first New Wine keynote speaker in 2005 and we're thrilled that he is back again. Todd is a bishop of the Anglican Mission in the Americas, is the founding pastor of Holy Trinity Church, an Anglican church in Costa Mesa, California and author of Christianity Beyond Belief (IVP 2009), Giving Church Another Chance (IVP Spring, 2010) and The Outsider Interviews (Baker Books, Summer 2010). Todd is also the founding director of Churches for the Sake of Others, the West Coast church planting initiative for The Anglican Mission in the Americas. Prior to his work with the Anglican Mission in the Americas, Todd founded Three is Enough, a small group movement that makes spiritual formation doable.
Breakout SessionsTime for teaching is incorporated throughout the day, including the Morning and Evening Celebrations. Throughout the long weekend, the keynote speaker presents teachings based on the theme of the conference. Additionally, during the late morning, early afternoon, and late afternoon, multiple breakout sessions are offered. Led by some ordinary people who have done extraordinary things for the kingdom, you will have a chance to meet in a smaller setting and engage in discussion with others.
Youth (age 11 - High School)The goal of the New Wine Youth Venue is to create opportunities for the youth to encounter and experience God is a new way. The youth will experience powerful worship, relevant teachings, times of ministry, interesting seminars, fun, games and lots of surprises. The theme for New Wine this year is More. ‘More what?’ you might ask. And that’s exactly what we will be focusing on – pursuing Jesus means that we always find ourselves saying, ‘Wait! There’s more?!?’ The leadership of the New Wine Youth Venue fully believes that today’s youth are NOT the church of tomorrow. Rather, they are an integral part of the church of today! (1 Timothy 4:12) We desire for the Youth Venue to be a place where the youth become more fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ as they experience Him in powerful and intimate ways throughout the weekend. Children (ages 5-10) While parents enjoy their programs, children head downstairs for New Wine Kids and participate in programs especially designed with them in mind. Live music, teaching, games and crafts create an atmosphere of high-energy fun! Hand-in-Hand Worship! is the theme and children will participate in many forms of fun, interactive worship experiences. Children's programs run concurrently with keynote talks and breakout sessions.
