Andy Morgan is the Assistant Rector of Prince George Winyah, Georgetown, South Carolina. He and his family moved from England in 2005 to be the Youth Minister at Prince George. How a person deals with loss is central to spiritual growth as well as relational development. While there is a natural tendency to avoid pain at all costs, the choice to embrace the grieving process is one that heals the future. This seminar will focus on patterns of responding to loss, Biblical truths regarding grief and loss, differences between grief and sorrow and practical ways to embrace the grieving process.
Sherri is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor in private practice in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina offering an integrated approach to healing. Peter C. Moore, D.D., is the Associate for Transformational Discipleship at St. Michael's Church, Charleston. Prior to that he was the Dean and President of Trinity School for Ministry near Pittsburgh, PA. He also founded FOCUS, an evangelistic outreach to private secondary schools from Raleigh to Boston, and was Rector of "Little" Trinity Anglican Church, Toronto, Canada. Dealing with Anger and Hurt Ron Kuykendall One of the hardest things for leaders to deal with is their own hurt and anger. In this session a fellow-traveler who has struggled deeply with his own anger and emotions will share from the Scriptures and then have a time for ministry for those who are seeking healing and peace. Ron is the Senior Pastor of St. Andrew’s in Gainesville, Florida, where he has served since 1996. He has extensive experience ministering to diverse people groups. Ron’s true passion is to minister the love of Christ to people, helping them get past various obstacles that block their spiritual growth – especially those blocks associated with wounded emotions, dysfunctional families, traumas and besetting sins. He and his wife Susie have been married for 20 years and raised two African-American sons and have two children of their own.
Contemplative Prayer: Practicing His Presence Becky Kerr In the presence of the Lord we find our true rest and a transformed identity in Christ. Come be part of this session as we seek His face. After a time of teaching, we’ll have time to practice Contemplative Prayer and discuss our experiences. Becky has enjoyed serving in a variety of ways in St. Andrew’s since 1993. She has been a part of the Worship team for almost 13 years. She co-lead the development and oversight of the inner healing ministry, Ananias and Prayer Ministry for 8 years. In 2005 she was asked to start and lead up the Prophetic Team Ministry.
Pursuing a God-sized Dream Daron Taylor God loves to plant dreams in the imaginations of his people. How many of these God-sized dreams actually get brought to fruition? How many people exchange God-sized dreams for “lesser” dreams because those dreams are manageable and safer? During our time together we’ll explore the life of Joseph and the 20-year pursuit of his God-sized dream.
Daron has been serving in pastoral ministry for 19 years. He has served on the staff of Campus Crusade for Christ as well as the pastoral staff of two different churches. He currently serves as the Director of Young Adult Ministries for the Episcopal Diocese of South Carolina. Vicky Beeching is a worship leader & songwriter from England. Coming up through the Vineyard and Soul Survivor movements, she was trained by Brian Doerksen, Matt Redman and Brenton Brown. With a theology degree from Oxford University and a passion to lead people into God's presence, Vicky spends her time traveling across the globe singing, teaching and writing. Mike Clarkson spent fifteen years as an international lawyer and business executive for a multinational corporation before training in England for the Anglican ministry. He has helped plant four churches and has led several churches in the United Kingdom and the Middle East. Mike has been married to Linda for 41 years, and they have two sons with families in the UK. He is now the Rector of The Church of Our Saviour at the juncture of Kiawah, Seabrook and Johns Islands, South Carolina. Most importantly: Helen was a single Mom for nine years and Tom is now the Stepdad of Helen’s grown children.

Joanne is married to cardiologist, Dr. Blount Ellison. She is the mother of three and grandmother of eight. Her background includes extensive training in Prayer Ministry. She is the leader of Drawing Near to God, a Bible-based life-related course offered at St. Andrew’s.
Being A Difference Maker in Your Walk with Christ Mark Barry Scripture calls us to walk in His ways bearing witness to all who cross our paths. Sometimes we are intentional about our witness. At other times, we have no idea who we are impacting. We will focus on what it means to be a difference maker: living our lives under His grace, will and authority in all that we do. Mark has been actively involved in numerous ministries at Saint Andrew’s since 1993. He is married to Kristy and has two children, Katey and John. Mark is a dentist and Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs at the College of Dental Medicine, Medical University of South Carolina. He has a heart for evangelism, missions, and worship.
